Years ago, there was a time when one did whatever one wanted without checking in FB or posting Insta stories. When our army was pushing back enemy forces in Kargil, I stepped out into the world as an Engineer to push forward with my agenda of becoming a programmer. Alas, C++ never appealed to me, but the way problems were solved by SEE++ appealed more! Attitude and not aptitude of fellow team members seemed to matter to me. Fascinated by selling, a career in sales seemed to be my calling. I found out that it wasn’t about what one sold, but how one created a rapport with people and built trust with the customers and the team that was alluring. 

After a decade and a half in sales, creating resilient Organizations, driving high-performance teams across the globe, and training people from different industries and institutions on business strategies seemed to be the rhythm of life. Life appeared content and successful with the 3Fs – Family, Financial success, and Fame in the profession. But the nagging apprehension that “is this all there is to life?” kept lingering. 

Just as Buddha’s enlightenment happened in Gaya, mine happened in Kashi where the serenity of Ganges washed away my pride! It is then it dawned on me that, more than anything else, I was working on helping someone – be it a friend, colleague, or client! That was my moment of epiphany when I realized that I need to be a catalyst in helping people discover themselves, break free from their limitations, and be the best they can be.

What followed that moment and a few years of exploring the universe has given rise to “Meraki" & "Dheemahi” and me. So here I am, an Entrepreneur, Management Consultant, Transformation Coach and Counsellor, crazy mom, and boxing coach who has been through a complete rigmarole of work-life balance and nearly mastered it.
